UNDERSTANDING GOD'S WAYS

A man was shipwrecked on his way to Manila. He was the only survivor of the inter-island ship. Washed ashore to a no m an's island, he surved because of his determination that someday, he can still see his family.

Help was too distant for this stranded man in an inhabited island. He was left no recourse other than to live day by day, thinking that assistance from anywhere was coming soon. He prayed to God for good health and safety for himself and those members of the family left at home.

In the island where he was, he had to adop to the climate there. He constructed a small hut out of small round timber for the pots, bamboo for the walls and roofings and wild vines to bind those building materials and fashioned it together to become what he called it home sweet home.

One day time and circumstances was too cruel for him. When he came from the wild forest to hunt and look for foods, it was to his surprise that his precious hut was on fire, casting upward a smoke to the high heavens up above. He grumbled and say "God, what have you done to me. Are yoou not aware that I am alone. Did you not know that what you have taken was the most precious possession that I have on this island. I am helpless, but look what you have done.......... But suddenly on the horizon a big cargo ship emerge from the horizon.

Yes, he was overhoyed and dpraise to the high heavens the answering God he had been calling all of his life. The captain of the ship together with his aide went down the rubber raft to go ashore. Once at the shore, the man said, " Look captain, my savior captain, what brought you here in this island.

He said to the man, "My son, I saw your smoke. " Here at this instance, on bended knees he shout with all of his voice, " My God and my Savior, please forgive me of my doubts, now I knew that wherever I am, you are an answering God.

LESSON- Even your priceless possession will be taken out by God, just to send message, in all His ways, we will know that "there is God."
